Not seeing host name for all devices

Post by kwoody51 »

I just installed Gargoyle today and I'm playing around with it.

I activated host name but I only have ~6 host names showing and ~20+ IP addresses showing. Is there a way for all hostnames to show vs a mix of host names and IP addresses? Can I manually add in host names to the IP addresses?

Installed this as I'm hoping to ensure that I don't hit my data cap at day 15 of the month again :)

Thanks!

Set up static leases at Connection -> DHCP and you can set your host names there.

related to your data cap point, you should setup a custom bandwidth monitor for the 15th. on the bandwidth.sh page

So it seems that some of the host names have started showing up. Guess it just needed a few days for them to come through.

It’s amazing how much data streaming Dolby vision content takes. Seems it’s like 10gb/ hour!
