did someone test this firmware on tp link 1043nd v2.1 edition and works fine? consider to update from 1.9.0 but afraid to do so.

I have put it on TL-1043ND v3 and have the following observations.

1) Your router has 8Meg of flash. The 1.11 release for all 8Meg routers is stripped of many features. You can recover these features if you install a flash drive in your USB port. You then have to copy the specific plugins you want and install them. Requires command line skills.

2) Do not attempt to preserve settings when upgrading. DHCP will break if you do and you will need more command line skills to recover your router. This goes for all routers as far as I can see.
