Those drivers aren’t relevant to that device so should not cause this issue

Installed on Linksys WRT1200AC-V1 and no issues. Thanks a lot for this. I wish I had tried Gargoyle earlier.

Yes, I do :)

The Wi-Fi issue is resolved after a reboot. No idea what happened :)

RC5 on a TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v1 working fine several days - also added Dynamic DNS plugin right away.

Now I wanted to add openvpn - but it fails with:

Code: Select all

Wed Dec 5 09:18:54 2018 daemon.err uhttpd[1990]: WARNING: opkg file "/var/opkg-lists/openwrt_18.06-snapshot_routing" does not exist or can not be opened
Wed Dec 5 09:18:54 2018 daemon.err uhttpd[1990]: WARNING: opkg file "/var/opkg-lists/openwrt_18.06-snapshot_base" does not exist or can not be opened
Wed Dec 5 09:18:54 2018 daemon.err uhttpd[1990]: No packages to install.
Then for fun - tried to add a theme - and that worked..

The named files do exist -

Thanks

Possibly an out of memory issue. Does it work fine after a reboot?
Openvpn is not recommended for such low memory anyway, so your first step is to add a USB stick, and add a swap partition and external storage.

It would be easier for you to try to build it first and send me the config after confirming it works.
I don’t have this device to test.

Just tried out this RC on a TL-WR1043ND v2. Working great. With QOS enabled I'm able to squeeze out 85mbit total bandwidth, up and down. Good enough for FTTN. Pretty chuffed.

If you can tell me step by step how to do it I would do it. I'm not a Linux pro but have a little clue about these things.
