QoS BW Limit

Post by rostik1 »

Hello.
I have a problem. I think, that BW distribution does not cut speed for Download link. I make rule which shares traffic on 90% and 10% . 10% it is for games, marked by ports.
Then i start torrents he squeeze packets which come for games.
I have to necessitate for limit band Bandwidth for all traffic which excluded in the 10% (games).
I have ADSL, 11.8 Mbit / 0.8 Mb
My router is TP-Link TL-WR841N/ND v8.
Version of Gargoyle 1.10.0
Tell me please, this is all that can be done?

It sounds to me like your setup is not correct. Apply a min bandwidth as well.
Torrents can choke a connection very easily. It is important to manage the upload side as well.

Please be respectful when posting. I do this in my free time on a volunteer basis.

Please show screen shot of your upload page while the problem is happening.

Also, on the download page show the ACC section while the problem is happening. Please make sure ACC is enabled and that the ping target is appropriate. Try 8.8.8.8 as your ping target as well.
