Thank you!
It seems that 5ghz wifi is not working and it is always gray,I tried to turn off 2.4ghz, turn on, reboot, use different channel widths, use the same ssid name, other channels, custom transmit power and etc... every time the 5ghz ssid is gray
(using the 1.9.2 release no problem)

Please help
My 5ghz has disappeared a couple of times in the last 24 hours or so. The ssid is also grayed out but currently working.

I'm using a WRT1900ACS.
I have WRT1900AC V2 which is similar to ACS, anyway, I have no problem with 5Ghz, my Nexus Player is connected via 5Ghz. I input all my settings again instead of loading a backup config file from 1.9.1 and waited about 5 minutes before inputting settings. Hope this help.

Can you please provide a “dmesg” and “logread” 30 seconds after issuing a “wifi” command at the command line?
http://lantisproject.com/downloads/gargoyle_ispyisail.php for the latest releases
Please be respectful when posting. I do this in my free time on a volunteer basis.

Upgraded my WNDR3800 yesterday and seems to be working well. Didn't encounter the 5 GHz issues reported above, and it's what my main box connects via (looking more closely, the SSID setting is slightly greyed - so subtly that I didn't even notice previously).

Settings were done from scratch; didn't preserve or restore from backup.

Just reporting that I upgraded my WNDRMACv2 and WNDR3700v1 units to version 1.10.0 from 1.9.x from September 18, 2017. Did not preserve the settings. On the WNDRMACv2, I tested DDNS, OpenVPN, AdBlock Plugin, USB Camera, QOS w/ACC and WIFI (Both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz). All seems to be functioning great!. On the WNDR3700v1, I tested USB Printing, it functions great as well. I also have 2 vlans (guest network completely segragated from regular network with internet only access) and vlan tagging setup between these 2 units and it is functioning great as well.

The only strange anomaly is that the WNDRMACv2 seems to always report an idle of around 0.72.

https://imgur.com/F8XZen4

I've tried turning off openvpn, AdBlock plugin, QOS w/ACC, WIFI, and turning off Bandwidth monitoring through SSH and the idle usage never goes below 0.69. I've reflashed the firmware and it still shows the same usage even after a couple of factory defaulting. I experienced the same issue with the 1.9.x from September 18, 2017 as well. I don't experience any slow downs on the network, everything seems to be snappy with the web interface. When I SSH into the unit and do a top command, I see know excessive usage in memory or processor. Go figure. :?:
Greetings All,

Just reporting that I found the source of my high idle cpu load issue with the WNDRMACv2 unit with the 1.10 firmware. I had a USB 2.0 hub plugged into the unit along with a couple of webcams that I forgot was plugged into the unit until I physically looked at the back of the unit this evening. Once I unplugged the USB hub, cpu load dropped down to 0.00 almost instantaneously. Never had this issue with firmware 1.6.x on this unit and this USB hub and high idle load but it seems to be an issue with 1.9 and 1.10 or perhaps with just this USB 2.0 hub I had plugged into the unit. Everything is all good and just as snappy as ever. :D

Success
In your screenshot it says you are selecting channel 149. In this log it shows 52.
Can you please change to channel 36 and check if your wifi comes online?

I expect the issue is you are selecting a DFS channel

I had tried each available channel for 5ghz, so both 36 and 52 have been used but still nothing. It should be something else.

Can you please present the same logs when using 36?
I'm just following what the errors say.

Also, what router is this?

I think possibly need to set regulatory region.
