Hi sorry to say no. There was a new 5ghz driver and it messes up if you save settings. If you make a back up you can use WINscp to transfer some of the files across. The ones that are safe to moov across are:
/etc/config/firewall
/etc/config/qos_gargoyle
/etc/ethers
/etc/firewall.user
/etc/hosts
Thanks, am glad I asked now! Gotta wait til the weekend to do the upgrade as have to wait until everyone is not using the internet

Hi mate Lantis or one of the other devs will fix it as soon as they can. They still have to figger what's going on with that bug. If you know anything about coding then feel free to submit a patch, but if you are more like me and dont have a clue then we will have to wate for a wile longer. :(

Hi all!
I am a newbe at this but I installed this version on my Archer C7 V2 on Saturday. It seems to be working great including the 5GHZ. I did a lot of reading on this forum and previously had DD-WRT loaded on the box. I was able to revert back to TP-Link firmware and then to Gargoyle. Tough part for me was figuring how to download and extract the torrent. Otherwise I love the simplicity of the interface.

Just wanted to say thanks to those who work on this and I look forward to seeing future development.

Looks like we are getting close with the DDNS issue. I've at least got a workaround for the moment (but a not very nice one).

Please be respectful when posting. I do this in my free time on a volunteer basis.
