Using Wireless Bridge/repeater mode...
I have the units IP address (10.55.12.10), subnet mask (255.255.255.0) and default gateway (10.55.12.1) entered on the 'connections' page. I DON'T want my gateway as a DNS server as it is a cisco and doesn't do DNS proxy. So I tick 'custom DNS' and enter my ISP DNS server (only). When I press Save changes the gateway IP is added as an additional DNS server, I can remove it but as soon as I save changes it gets added back.... (and it is in /etc/resolv.conf as well...)

Re: Keeps adding DNS server....
That does sound like a bug, I'll look into it.

It is normal
host must get dns from somewhere
the fact is that if u add your own gateaway should disappear or at least should be removable

Fra&co
that was my point - it is not removable as it adds itself back in...
Anyway the client may have a static DNS configured or I might not even want to give them DNS (via DHCP or at all) as they might not get internet access.... Think windows machines via a proxy using wins/broadcast to find the proxy....

Re: Keeps adding DNS server....
I just tried to replicate this, but everything seems fine. When I set a different DNS, the gateway doesn't get added back (in GUI or /etc/resolv.conf).
Where all is it getting added back to? Do you see it in the GUI, or is it just in /etc/resolv.conf ?

Re: Keeps adding DNS server....
try to see if adding 151.1.1.1
the /etc/resolv.conf is
nameserver 192.168.1.1
nameserver 151.1.1.1
or
nameserver 151.1.1.1
as it should be
obviously if nothing is added (default) you have
nameserver 192.168.1.1
