QoS (Download) Rules Disappear

Post by LMP »

Gargoyle Version: 1.6.1
Model :TP-Link TL-WR2543N/ND v1
Device Configuration: Gateway

My configurations of QoS (Download) -- Classification Rules just disappear:

And I can't Add New Classification Rule:

If I check the box and remove not happen when I click at Add Rule.

What should I do?

I have run into this problem too some time ago. Reverting back to default settings solved the problem.

Strangely enough, since I went to 1.6.1 my Upload rules started to disappear. They are after the Download rules in the same qos_gargoyle file. I did reset, reloaded older config, wrote the rules on the router. Nothing helps - I'd delete one Upload rule and the qos_gargoyle file would get smaller, truncated at some middle-of-a-rule spot.

This problem is known to happen if you have two or more browser windows viewing the QoS page simultaneously and a setting change is made.

All versions have this issue.
Linksys WRT1900ACv2
Netgear WNDR3700v2
TP Link 1043ND v3
TP-Link TL-WDR3600 v1
Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH2
WRT54G-TM

Thank you, pbix.

That's exactly what I had - one tab for changing the settings and another one watching how the change affected the QoS distribution.

It would be great, if you could provide the contents of /etc/config/gargoyle_qos file.

Anyway restoring to default settings will solve the issue.

QoS download rules ignoring completely. Upload QoS works fine.

So now every download traffic is normal priority which i don't want.

Any suggestions ? I really want to stick with gargoyle, so i hope for some fix.

Update #1: I just disable and enable back , and save changes. And now it is working correctly. Weird. :)
