Gargoyle for wr841nd v8

I believe this question was asked on the forum by someone else who has yet to receive an answer. I thought I would add my support and repeat the question. Is there a timeline for availability of a version of Gargoyle that will support the TL-wr841nd_v8?

You have to wait, it's not supported by OpenWRT yet.

Gargoyle is typically based of official release versions of OpenWRT
not trunk/test releases

Could I draw your attention to this screenshot, which I found on the OpenWrt download website;

This is for Attitude Adjustment (12.09), and although the firmware is for the wr841n, the OpenWrt website states that the wr841nd differs only in that it has a detachable antenna.

Hello. I would like to add my request to support this router with version 8 hardware. Having had such great success with Gargoyle and the v7, I ordered another one from Newegg. Showed up today and the firmware I had used before won't work. Turns out I got a v8 unit. Wah! Thanks for all.

You can use gargoyle-pl (polish language):
gargoyle-pl images
wr841 v8 factory
wr841 v8 sysupgrade

Is the Polish version otherwise the same? If so, perhaps it is worth a try and an opportunity to learn a new language in a limited way.

Could someone post a translated version? I for one have no desire to learn Polish in my spare time!
