***** New finding

I can open the Web Admin (http://192.168.1.1) using Firefox 16.0.1

But now it failed in IE9 with the popup --> Do you want to open or save login.sh from 192.168.1.1?

Previously, IE9 worked fine when running firmware 1.5.7

Any idea?
I can confirm this problem. IE9 on vista32

Hi,

the update to version 1.5.8 works perfect. Now also my OpenVpn Server Client Configuration on 1043ND is working without problems i had before with router crashes etc. :-)
But i dont have the option to use Wake on Lan if i established a OpenVPN connection from my client. I only see the information window for Wake On Lan but no possibility to wake up any of my host i configured before for Wake on Lan. Do you made some expiriences with this? Or can this be a bug? Thanks.

Michael

The download of Web Usage Data with 1.5.8 with Firefox 16.0.1 is ok. I've no problem with that.

Tried two machines running Vista 32 SP1 and Win 7 32, both failed.

Upgrading my 1043nd 1.7 from 1.5.7 and checking the "keep settings" yielded a brick. No sys light. Working on unbricking now...

EDIT: Guess not. My old craptop with a serial port is dead. 1043 is down for now.

I've tracked down and fixed the problem causing problems with IE.

For those experiencing problems with this release try using either Firefox or Chrome. I am considering rebuilding and replacing the original 1.5.8 release with one that includes this fix for IE users. For now, however, try using Firefox or Chrome which don't have this issue.

Just wanted to report that using openvpn with a tl-1043 does not seem to crash the router any more. Good work!

I got some problems with DNS not resolving still, but that's probably just my conf file needing some tweaking.
