I was extolling the virtues of gargoyle on overclockers when some of the posters pointed out how invasive the web monitoring could be. I use it for my family but can understand that if you were installing this in a shared residence then flat mates maybe concerned at the power you now have.
One solution could be to give access of the router to flat mates but that could be bad in some circumstances. Another possible solution would be to have a page they could go to which just says if monitoring is on and if off when it was last on and maybe how many pages it has in the db - which stops cunning admins turning it off and on.
Would this be possible?
