High traffic with WNDR3800 causes reboot?

Post by sigwx »

Router: WNDR3600
Version: 1.8.0

Been trying out Gargoyle 1.8 (mostly for the quotas) and have run into what seems to be a new problem for me... Comcast has bumped up the download rate to 150Mb, and anytime I run speedtest.net to check the rate, the router reboots..

I 've tried turning off the quotas (was mentioned in another thread) but that hasn't seemed to help, any ideas?

Thanks!

Well, may have answered my own question...

I just disabled the quota rules, and that didn't help.

Deleting the quota rules, seems to have stabilized things. Not ideal as the major 'selling' point for using Gargoyle was the quotas.

And just in case anyone was wondering... I went to 1.9.0 instead, and quotas are working just fine. Uptime over a week at this point and zero problems.
