WR1043ND - how to connect to BTHub3?

Post by olioli2345 »

Hi guys I need some help.

In our home we have 4 lodgers, and I'm fairly certain they hog all of the internet, but I've no way to prove/restrict this. I googled software, and this and DD-WRT came up. What I want to do is:

Use the WR1043ND to connect wired OR wirelessly (not bothered) TO my BTHub3, so that the WR1043ND uses the internet through the BTHub3.

I want the WR1043ND to be the SSID that they chose, so HOPEFULLY this means that all traffic will go through this router? I've looked at the software on the Gargoyle UI and there does seem to be some options which show UL/DL speeds of various devices.

Any help will be HUGELY appreciated!!!

Place BThub in bridge mode. Connect from BThub to WAN port of WR1043ND

Set xlmnection type to PPPoE in gargoyle. Enter details. Away it goes.

All of this information is covered in the documentation. If you get stuck come back with specific questions and a handful of screenshots. :)
