Succesfull installed:

gargoyle_1.4.6-ar71xx-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-factory.bin

On:

TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND
Hardware version: 1.8

About 2,5 weeks ago.

Everything works fine.

Noticed problems:
1/ Correction of wrong WAN MAC subscribed on my Internet Operator MAC address network access list - After correction Gargoyle obtaining WAN setting automatically on Connection Via: DHCP (Wired) setting.
2/ Strange WLAN LED work. It blinks when I connect any PC by Wireless and mainly its blank when no PC is connected by wireless but sometimes after disconnect all PCs WLAN LED is shine all the time since next wireless connection.
3/ My Internet Operator gives me double Internet speed at night and once or twice I have to reboot router to get that speed. Before reboot Internet speed was half of my standard day speed.

Please start a separate thread on this subject here in this forum and tell us how you determined that rebooting changed anything? It seems unlikely to me that rebooting would do anything to increase your speed.

I have successfully flashed Netgear WNDR3800 with gargoyle_1.4.7-ar71xx-wndr3800-squashfs-factory.img

I did this through the factory firmware 1.0.0.18 and it was able to detect that gargoyle is based on openwrt and it installed it just fine. :D

Then from gargoyle I loaded 1.5.4.

Note: I used 1.4.7 first because its stable but you could probably load 1.5.4 first as the factory firmware can detect its openwrt.

Everything working fine but I have no way to test 5GHz. Its been running for 6 hours now.

i have been able to flash a WRT54GL v1.1 with 1.4.7

I used the stock web GUI to load the .bin file without any problems.

Only problem was it locked up after 2 months and required a reset using the firstboot command. Will have to monitor the situation.
