How it can be done?
I tried to upgrade directly from web interface to wr842ndv1_en_3_12_25_up_boot(130322).bin
but this operation returned error "cannot upgrade"...

It's possible, but must be older firmware version, use this http://www.filemonster.net/file/25431/original.bin.html
