Power up your router. When the 'SYS' light starts to blink, press and hold the QSS button on the right side of the front panel until the blinking of 'SYS' LED gets faster. If that won't work instead of holding the button press it and keep pressing it until the blinking gets faster.

Wahoo!!!!!!!! What a great Day went from a brick to unbricked!!!
I used the phone usb cable and putty at 115xxx 8n1 toook a little time figure out what wire went where end up black to grn to tx and white to rx red not used(nothing on vcc either) but boy do you have type quick tpl quick to get the 7100> prompt
