Revert TP-Link TL-WR1043ND to Stock?

Post by lovelyjubbly »

I'd like to revert my 1043 to stock firmware, as the Gargoyle interface is too slow and hangs most of the time.

I've tried the procedure below but the upgrade just hangs forever and stays on Gargoyle.

Any ideas?

Check out the Installation guide, there is a link to a bin file that has the stock firmware for 1043ND.

Thanks Paul,

If you read my original post you'll see I've already tried that :(

I am having the same issue, it wont revert back. Is it safe/ok to use the bin file that is supplied to revert ddwrt back to stock?

I basicaly want to revert back bcse i got the "No Wan acccess" bug: http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... f=8&t=2584

Which i suspect it just happens when u go to Gargoyle from the LATEST wr1043nd firmware. I beleive if you come from an older stock, this WAN bug wont appear . . .
