Question regarding PPTP on new install.

Post by dg_102 »

Hi,

I have been successful in installing Gargoyle on a TP-Link 1043ND, enabled QoS for OBi and VOIP, enabled swap memory, everything works great. My last task is to enable PPTP for my BoxeeBox running behind the router.

My question is, do I have to install only the kmod-ipt-nathelper-extra and I am done or, do I need other packages?

Thank you,

dg.

Forgot to mention I installed version 1.5.3

Apparently I was using the wrong service, that explain why I wasn't connecting. Everything works, sorry about that.

Hi,
I'm trying to do the same thing, I have a PPTP server behind the router (TP-Link 1043ND), may I ask how I can set the GRE (PPTP passthrough) in the firmware to enable this to work?

Thanks in advance!

You'll need a custom build. This kernel module won't load if installed by opkg
