WNDR3700

hi guys, i just purchased a refurbished wndr3700 and have no idea which version it is. it didn't come with the box. i went into the gui and got this info from it

firmware version v1.0.4.49
gui language v1.0.0.1

any info will be greatly appreciated because i can't wait to gargoyle it. thanks in advance.

1x wndr3800 exp. 1.9.x
1x wndr4300v1 exp. 1.9.x
1x wndrmacv2 exp. 1.9.x

It's a version 1 of the 3700 series. The firmware for version 2 starts with 1.0.0.6 (according to the information on the netgear site).

Definitely a V1

I have the same unit. Runs Gargoyle perfectly.

thanks guys, i was able to install gargoyle with no problems with the wndr3700v1 build. thanks... :D

YW. Good to know you got it working. I think you will like the way your router works with the Gargoyle firmware. I know I do with my 3700v2!

What's the throughput like to a drive attached to the USB port of a 3700 flashed with Gargoyle? I know that with the Netgear firmware it's so lw as to be unusable -- hoping shifting to Gargoyle will give me a functional NAS drive.

I haven't attached a HDD to either of my WNDR units, but I do have some flash sticks (OLD ONES, haha) attached and one runs my Squid cache. It's holding up fine so far.
