Backup and Restore on different routers

I was using a WRT1900AC router and have just purchased a WRT1900ACS model (ACV2). Both routers are running Gargoyle v1.12. I performed a backup from my AC router and tried to do a restore on my ACS router however it fails with little info to go on. I am selecting the .tar file that was created when I did a backup on the AC module.

This is neither supported nor recommended.
They're completely different devices.
