doublechecking: flash an AR150?

Post by oaktwin »

Since you sell one of these in your web-shop, i assume it's relatively safe to flash gargoyle onto my farm's router?

It's a LibreCMC GL AR150
Frivolous Fred v1.4.2 r109-690eebcef4 / LuCI v1.4 branch (git-17.365.12795-94405a1)
4.4.108-gnu

and i would simply flash gargoyle_1.10.0-ar71xx-generic-gl_ar150-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin in the "flash new firmware" section, right?

I ask for confirmation because about 60 people will be angry if i break the internet on our farm ;)

It would be impossible to say if they are even remotely compatible.
I think you would be taking a risk by trying to move between them without a well thought out and practiced recovery plan.
