DHCP Wired TL-WA701ND v2 - Gargoyle 1.9.2 cannot be accessed

Post by Cornholio »

Help!

I need your help here! What I've done before this happen was just changed the DNS servers from Connection > Basic page. After I hit Save my Android Tablet disconnected from the router and cannot connect back in. Got a message "Authorization problem" when trying to connect from all of the devices. Cannot ping the router as well when connected using Ethernet. I checked the fail safe mode article posted but unfortunately I can't connect as well. Reset button doesn't work either. I even tried to use TFTPD32/64 but it doesn't work as well.

I really don't know what to do now. Please help!

PS: TL-WA701ND v2 only shares 1 LAN/WAN port. No USB ports either.

Hi, I think I've got failsafe working. I think I've used SSH rather than Telnet. Sorry, didn't read carefully the documentation as I was in a hurry.

May I know how long will this complete? It's almost 10 minutes after I hit Enter.

Try again and type “firstboot -y”
It’s pretty quick from memory.

I think your screen there is stuck waiting for the “-y”

Please be respectful when posting. I do this in my free time on a volunteer basis.
