Thanks for the feedback @tapper.

@Andy did you also have trouble creating and using Device Groups or did they work OK for you?

Good News! Both the Security Improvements and the Quota Usage Improvements have been merged into the master Gargoyle build.

I have rebuilt the Bleeding Edge to also include a number of other Gargoyle improvements merged in the last couple of weeks.

The additional functionality in the Bleeding Edge includes Known Devices, Device Groups and Table Sorting.

More good news! Table Sorting has been merged into the master Gargoyle build.

Now the only additional functionality in the Bleeding Edge is Known Devices & Device Groups.

FYI, I've merged the known-devices pull request into a separate branch and am testing that now, just like I did for table sorting a few days ago. Because of it's larger size this may take me a bit longer to evaluate, but it should be merged into master before too long.

x1705 wrote:I think i found the problem. I was entering both the "known-devices" and "device-groups" fields in. it wouldn't save if they were both populated with new info. If i complete just one of them at a time it will save. so...
filling out all my known-devices first, saving, ...THEN making Device-Groups, and saving separately works. Thanks! :)
@x1705 identified a bug in saving device-groups which probably expains the issues that @tapper has encountered. I have corrected the bug but it will take a little time to flow thru because @Eric is in the middle of testing.

You can work around this issue by deleting any additional whitespace at the end of the list of know-devices before adding the row to the device-group-table and saving

The Bleeding Edge images are now up to date with the most recent commits to @Eric's master branch.
https://github.com/nworbnhoj/gargoyle/b ... /README.md
ie the images are equivalent to @ispyisail's May 12 build + Known Groups
