How to change the version number?
I've used the command “git checkout 1.8.0” to switch to the 1.8.0 branch before building. But I got the image file "gargoyle_1.7.x-ar71xx-***-factory.img". How to change the version number to 1.8.0 or 1.8.x? THX in adv.

Lol i didn't notice that.
Line 1 of the Makefile in the root directory controls the versioning. It must have slipped through before the 1.8.0 tag was generated
