I could edit the torid.sh with the vi command.
But my second question is still open.
Is it possible to host a hidden server with the latest version?
And if not. Do you think that you will implement it in the future?

Hi,

Can the TOR plugin be used to watch BBC iplayer outside of the UK ?

If not is there an alternative recommendation or is it to use a smartdns service provider ?

Anyone use smart dns for BBC iPlayer on smart TV?
I want to stream it to my TV without VPN

Agree. I think CyberGhost is a good alternative. It's compatible with TOR and can play/watch almost all shows you want to watch.

Thanks for the responses. I eventually used trickbyte as the smartdns provider and can confirm it works well with iplayer and itv hub. SmartDNSProxy also works. Trickbyte also provide vpn which is compatible with openvpn but i am only going to start looking at that now that i have upgraded to 1.12
