1.12 planning

Hi all,
I'm in the planning stages of publishing 1.11.x as 1.12.0.
Are there any glaring concerns or remaining issues that people want to try and solve before we publish a "stable" version.

Is the issue with sysupgrade not properly signalling completion of the flash process to the web UI specific to the ipq806x architecture (which I know won't be formally supported in 1.12) or more general?

More general.
I've redesigned the way it works in 1.13 which will be safer and will automatically reload after upgrade.
But it is based on guesswork because it's no longer possible for the system to signal to us what is happening.
