Dynamic DNS (Cloudflare)

Post by adamw »

I have been using the Dynamic DNS function with cloudflare for quite some time. All of a sudden it started to fail. I removed the Dynamic DNS entry and reloaded however it now no longer will save. Each time stating that it's failed.

"Update of the new dynamic DNS service configuration(s) have fail: xxxx.xxxxxxxxx.com
Service(s) could not be updated properly and have therefore been removed."

I was running v1.5.8 on a Netgear WNDR3700v2. I tried resetting the router to no avail and now have upgraded to v1.6.0 in the hopes that this may resolve the problem which it did not.

Does anyone have any ideas on the issue? Have cloud flare changed the API which has resulted in the issue? I have tried regenerating a new API key with cloudflare along with checking and rechecking my settings and everything looks fine??

Regards,
Adam

Hi! I'm the one who added the CloudFlare entry to Gargoyle and it's working fine for me (tested on 04/16/2014).

Just for the record, my router is a TP-Link WR1043ND v1.8 running Gargoyle 1.6.2.

AFAIK, the CloudFlare API hasn't changed since the last time I saw it.

Let me know if the issue persists and I'll check it in my spare time.
