Solved: Being logged out of router

Hi everyone,
I am having a weird problem where I can log into the router and see the summary page however if I click on any tab down left side, eg. "Firewall" I am returned to the log in screen now logged out almost instantly. As such I no longer have access to any configuration settings on my router.

Should note that router is working fine/as intended, I just wanted to forward another port.

EDIT: Running 1.4.7 on a TP-Link wr1043nd

Thanks for your advice in advance.
Vance

Spot on thank you. Tried IE and it worked fine, chrome is giving me the trouble. Something awry with its config I think.

I have the same problem with Chrome (and Firefox).
Gargoyle firmware 1.5.9
On old PC Chrome gives me no problems logging in to router. But on a new PC with exactly the same Chrome version (and on the same network) I am immediately logged out as soon as I choose any menu option. Clearing cache did not solve the issue. Firefox behaviour is identical; works on old PC, not on the new one.
IE access works on both PCs.
Also could not register for this forum using Chrome. Had to use IE for that as well.
Any suggestions on how to get Chrome to work on both systems?

I started having this same problem also. I can log in and go to the summary screen, but when I click on any of the navigation links on the left side, it logs me out. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling Chrome but still same problem.

Nothing has changed afaik, well other than a new video card, CPU and a couple of games... hmmmm...

Gargoyle Version: 1.5.10
Model: TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v1

Chrome Version 32.0.1700.102 m

IE and Opera works just fine, however.

:o ???!!!! It's not doing it today!

Nothing has changed since last night [Edit: except for some reason my clock was off by 1 hour and I fixed that...]. Chrome hasn't updated and nothing changed in the Gargoyle setup. :|

Thanks for that. I just hit the same problem (WNDR3800, Gargoyle 1.71, Chrome) but swapping to Internet Explorer seems to work (gives me a certificate warning using IE).
Its just wrong that IE works and Chrome doesn't!

I experienced the same issue as mentioned by the other posters, but noticed that somebody mentioned "[Edit: except for some reason my clock was off by 1 hour and I fixed that...]."

I noticed that my clock was out as well. I updated the pc time and the issue was resolved.

Hope this helps.

I can confirm the last message.

Was having this problem with Chrome on Linux. From this thread I took a look and the router and PC disagreed on the time by about 15 minutes.

Changed the time at the Linux end, now login works fine.
