Firewall settings not saved

Post by 8hours »

hi,

I installed Gargoyle on my TL WDR3600. it's great, thanks!

however, I seem not to be able to set any forwarding via the web interface. When I add the rule and save changes everything appears fine, but the next time I visit the Port Forwarding page, there are no saved rules.

I guess the changes should be saved in
'/usr/lib/gargoyle_firewall_util/gargoyle_additions.firewall'
however the file is empty.

I have also encountered a problem with port opening which might be related. I want to open a tcp port for bittorrent. via UCI I added the following entry to /etc/config/firewall:

config rule
option src 'wan'
option target 'ACCEPT'
option proto 'tcp'
option dest_port '51410'

The web interface of transmission still reports that 51410 "Port is closed".

Did you resolve your issue? I just ordered a WDR3600 and am looking to see which issues I may run into with Gargoyle.

Also, have you ran it into simultaneous dual band, 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz?
