Losing data usage on reboots

Post by ArcticCat »

Hi,

I've been running Gargoyle for a few years and never faced this before

I have recently reset my router and re-configured it (no version changes) and now after each restart I lose the Data Usage for the DAY, earlier info are still retained....

Gargoyle Version:1.12.0
Model:TP-LINK Archer C7 v5

any help would be appreciated

Yes, this can happen if the cron daemon does not start or you do not hit the time when cron performs a backup or the correct time is not set on the router. Cron daemon backup times on a given day and each of the following:
00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00

You can also start the backup manually via the ssh command:

Code: Select all

/tmp/bw_backup/do_bw_backup.sh
Turris Omnia with OpenWrt 21.02 - Tested
Linksys WRT3200ACM with Gargoyle 1.13.x
TL-WR1043ND v2 with Gargoyle 1.10.0
