Adblock plugin always disabled on web interface WDR3600 with gargoyle 1.11 but it's working

I've tried the new version on my WDR3600 and when I tried to enable the adblock plugin the plugin works but it doesn't show as enabled in the web interface. I upgraded without preserving settings, I'm using an external usb for the plugins and I've reinstalled it multiple times. The syslog when I try to enable it shows something like this:

Is your USB stick that you use for external plugins FAT32?

Yes, it is

EDIT: Also forgot to mention it worked in RC5 but I formatted the usb disk between updates

My current theory is that you can’t use FAT32 for plugin root. This is due to the fact that FAT doesn’t have the notion of “symlinks”.
If you format the drive to EXT4 (Gargoyle can do this for you if you unmount the drive first in the USB storage page), I think it will work ok for you.

If you’re willing to try this and confirm, that would be most appreciated.
I believe other users who have complained that OpenVPN isn’t working are having the same issue; and we just need to add a blocker for using FAT32.

Why we haven’t encountered this before now, no idea!

I formatted it but after formatting I wasn't able to install any plugin because it said there was no space left(even it said on the top there were about 10gb free), I guess this was because I had the plugins installed in the USB and after it was formatted and the filesystem changed it got messed up. I ended up reinstalling gargoyle without preserving settings and before installing anything I unmounted the USB, formatted it and used it as exroot(default settings so 25% for swap partition), now everything works so I guess you were right. I guess just preventing gargoyle from using any non properly formatted drive for anything not related with using it as a file server(DLNA, FTP, etc...) would fix this problem.
