openvpn server - custom settings

Post by ivklim »

I would like to change the default settings for openvpn server, fe. i need to put "fragment"

tried to add lines in "openvpn" file in /etc/config. but it looks like not working

also i made the changes in server.conf in /etc.openvpn, but it looks like Gargoyle do rewrite this file after restart.

As above, and as long as you don’t press “save changes” then it should not be overwritten.

No, you would have to modify the code for the GUI to achieve this

The one that really gets me is "Turning the DHCP server off"

Every time you hit save the DHCP server turns on.
(I assume this is a related problem?)

I have a feeling this is done intentionally to stop people shooting themselves in the foot. But you’d have to ask Eric.
