Wifi Scheduling BUG

Post by Efilon »

I have TP-Link Archer c7 with gargoyle on it. I installed on it wifi scheduling addon but "someone who shouldnt use internet at 3 am instead of sleeping" figured out that after reset router (or lack of electricity) wifi is turning on and continue scheduling next evening.
How to fix that? When router resets it should check schedule and turn wifi off.

Simple solution is to create a restriction rule and block the device between the relevant hours. This won’t be tricked by powering off and on.

If you’re coding savvy, we can discuss alternatives to fix the wifi schedule plugin.
I will also have a think about permanent fixes to the plugin itself, but they aren’t high on my todo list cureently.
