logfiles to help debug issue

Are there any useful debugging logs anywhere?

I'm trying to diagnose an issue where I have a couple of port forwards, to HA servers. I can access them correctly from my phone on 4G, but if I try & access them from my work PC, I am getting "stuck" at a login page (I have no password set so shouldn't even see this)

I'd like to know what (if anything) is being requested, and what is happening to those requests - really, I'm trying to work out why the phone works, and the PC doesn't.

I've tried logread -f - but obviously, wither that's the wrong log, or the wrong setting in play - as it doesn't show "access"/firewall information
