UPnP - display open ports/host names using service

Post by vplessky »

It would be very helpful to have possibility to display/list open ports on router opened via UPnP, and host names (IP address) using that service:

Here is how it is implemented in Tomato:

It is very useful to check which hosts initiated UPnP port opening, and what applications are in fact using this feature.
In addition to BitTorrent (KTorrent, qBittorrent), Skype and Pidgin use UPnP to have correct port mappings.

Here is how it looks like on TP-Link WR1043ND stock firmware:

UPnP works in OpenWrt just fine (tested on TP-Link WR1043ND, OpenWrt 10.03.1-RC4, PPPoE connection to provider)

But without proper display of open ports on router, it's difficult to do any kind of diagnostics.

Feature described above is certainly on top in my Wish List for Gargoyle Features.
