Tor and VPN users labeled as criminals will be hacked and spied by FBI under new law
We had reported a landmark judgement by the United States Supreme Court, which will give FBI powers to hack any computer in the world using a single warrant. The same judgement contains a innocuous para related to Tor and VPN users.

Sad world we're living in. Soon it'll be you're guilty until proven innocent.
QoS Tip: Don't complicate your QoS settings. Gargoyle evenly splits available bandwidth between active devices as needed. Just delete all your classification rules and leave only one normal service class and you're done. No more arguing over bandwidth.

We geeks need to do what-ever we can to make privacy as strong as we can. Security is not absolute - it is a barrier. The trick is to make the barrier higher than the prize - or at least higher than your neighbour's barrier.
Running Tor on Gargoyle is a good first step because it adds a barrier, and adds general traffic to the Tor network which helps to obscure the traffic of others. However, the applications that you use over Tor can identify you. If you need a higher barrier then you can choose the Tor browser bundle or better yet use Tails https://tails.boum.org/
Also I believe I2P https://geti2p.net/en/ is an important project, and Bote in particular.

Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?
