TP-Link : TL-WR841N v10, Firmware Support

I tried to flash a TP-WR841ND v10 router using the v9 firmware (by forcing the upgrade) but seem to have bricked the router so do not recommend doing this.

It would be great to have an official TP-WR841ND v10 version of the firmware.

Here is the solution for this great software to work on v10.

1. flash with dd-wrt
2. reflash dd-wrt to factory software 9 version.
3. upgrade as you have 9 version with factory.


I use for wds and it is working

I don't understand, just go to their forum in Atheros section latesst build files are there, OpenWrt has it too

Not for TL-WR841N v10 i.e. the download section currently only supports up to version 9 and not 10 (I bricked a router trying to install v9 software on a v10 router).

And I have not been successful in being able to upgrade to Gargoyle from an OpenWrt installation (if some one has been able to do that, some details would be appreciated).
