Archer C5 and C7

Post by chigo58 »

So after a very long run with my 1043ND's since (2009) which still seem to be going strong despite several firmware updates and bricks, it feels like its time to update to something more modern. Originally upgraded from my WRT54Gl's and a good old Buffalo which are still kicking, i've set my eyes on this router on the Archer C5 http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/deta ... =Archer+C5 which comes at a moderate price here in Malta. Reviews look good so I'm gonna go for a pair tomorrow. Let's see how they perform....... am happy to hear of other experiences from existing users..

so it's done.. ended up buying a C5 1.2 and C7 v2 running stock firmwares till gargoyle supports these devices fully.

Judging from openwrt's wiki http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wdr7500, it would seem that openwrt already does so its a matter of time.
