Is it Time for a router upgrade?

Post by mgpaulus »

I have a WNDR3700V1, and I was wondering if it was time for a new router, or is this guy, while old, still acceptable? Run 3 laptops, 2 iphones, an iPad, a WGA600N attached to a SageTV extender, and whatever visitors bring along. Particularly interested in video streaming performance with the WGA600N, and stability for everything.

Hi your WNDR3700V1 should be fine for now! You will have a much bigger selection of routers wen the next version of Gargoyle comes out. The next version of Gargoyle will be baste on the bb branch of openwrt.

I see no point in upgrading, if everything is running smoothly.
