How to build openwrt image with gargoyle packages ?

Post by banglang.huang »

I downloaded openwrt -attitude adjustment yesterday, and I want to use gargoyle's web rather than luci(default), thus I want to know how I can reach my target when I am going to build openwrt's firmware for my router?

I updated all the packages with below command :
'./scripts/feeds update -a'
'./scripts/feeds install -a'

But I can not find anything about gargoyle after enter the menu with
'make menuconfig'

Any hint will be appreciated, thanks!!

There is a post on this topic

From memory, it is a difficult task to the point where you will find it much easier to use the gargoyle repo

Gargoyle has a custom kernel or something like that

You should use make custom in Gargoyle. In the first time, it will engage menuconfig. I had some difficult time to do make menuconfig the second time but eventually find some solutions. Not sure it will cause any problem or not but so for it works for me. Please see from: http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... 278#p19278
