I have a question , it is normal if the reboot time around 7-10minutes for wl-500gp v2 with gargoyle installed ? . every-time when I reboot the router I need to wait long time before it came back online.

I have a Linksys WRT54GL with Gargoyle installed on it. It takes about 4-5 minutes to finish a reboot, so your ASUS WL-500GP might be working normally.

This is a problem -- it shouldn't take that long. I think I know what's causing these long reboot times however. It's a bug causing bandwidth monitor data to be loaded multiple times at boot, and it gets worse every time you reboot. I fixed this in 1.1.2, which has been committed to the stable branch, but I haven't released a stable release that contains the fix (which I really should do -- look for 1.0.15 soon). If you're willing to use the experimental branch (which should be fairly stable right now) see if 1.1.2 fixes this.
