Installing packages to external storage (USB)

Post by Takenover83 »

I have my USB pendrive mounted (/dev/sda1) for use for storage and swap. How do I go about installing packages (opkg) to there? Should I just following the openwrt wiki? Moving /overlay to /dev/sda1? Or is there a easier way?

There is a easy way like extroot. http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/extroot

But, wiki is old for Attitude Adjustment
