system/kernel log

Post by antony84 »

Hi, in luci ui of openwrt there is tabsf for viewing system and kernel logs.
Because Gargoyle does not have it, can i see it through console? I want to see where my pppoe connection goes down etc... In opewrt luci it is possible.

Thanks

It can be a normal computer, but should be connected through an ethernet cable (to make sure that there is no disconnects).

You can also connect to the router with ssh and run

Code: Select all

logread -f
Then you get the log shown.
