restarting the computer make problems with wi-fi connection

I set up my computer to reboot at 3:00 a.m. every day. I'm using computer monitoring software so I need to reboot the computer at the same time every day. I notice it works fine most of the time. But sometimes I can't connect to it via Wi-Fi. I usually have to power cycle again for it to work fine. I've noticed this in a couple of versions and maybe a couple of years.
