I just upgraded to 1.11.x and noticed something odd and had a quick question concerning it. I noticed under connected hosts every so often I see the following:
(unknown) 10.48.0.1 unknown 0 0 1
This is obviously not my private range. When I tracert to this address, its the next hop after the router. I just wanted to verify if this is expected and its a router service pulling something for config info, otherwise I'll need to hunt down this rogue address on my network. I can't get any info from a reverse public IP lookup.

Its been like this since the beginning of time (Gargoyle time)
Its been asked many times
Nobody seams to know why its there?

This is the same conclusion or best answer others have come up with as well. When I tracert to this address, its the next hop after the router.

Re: 1.11.x upgrade question
Ok then, well if its expected, then I won't worry about it. Thanks. I did block it outbound on the WAN side just in case it was malware somewhere on the LAN.
