Archer c7 v5.0 Newbie Question Sorry

Firstly let me say hi as I am new here. Hi!
I found this page and community via a web search after nearly loosing my sanity dealing with my 18 year old son.
We live very remotely and our only viable internet access is via long distance wifi, this works fine although we only get 10mb down and 1mb up the problem that we have is that the unlimited package we have has a fair use policy of 500GB a month. there are 4 children, my wife and I in the house and currently our delightful oldest son is using around 80% of the quota which typically means we run out of data and get throttled back to 256k up and down for the remainder of the month.
As such I am really interested in the quota abilities of the gargoyle code.
My question is I have purchased a Archer C7 V5.0 (it was sold as a V2 but was a V5 when it turned up and they do not have a V2). I have read on the forum that the V5 is supported in a 'pre release' but Im not exactly sure where to find the correct file.
would it be possible for someone to point me in the right direction.
Many Thanks
Paul
