Just installed in 3700v4 (from stock firmware V1.0.2.80 to gargoyle). So far so good. For instance, it works fine with the TP-LINK T4U AC1200 usb adapter (mostly using the 5GHz).

Hello Gargoyle Team

do you have a Roadmap when you are going to publish 1.9.0? I do not want to offend someone, I'm just curious and like to play around ;)

Thx all for your effort

I had been running 1.8.0 on a TP-WR941ND V3.6 (Settings were NOT preserved, the Wireless is being NOT used) for a few weeks and had NOT noticed any "Problems". Yesterday after updating a few DHCP Entries, the bottom half had "Disappeared". Followed by the Router being unable to execute a Soft "Restore to Default Configuration", although pressing the Reset Button for 30 Seconds was successful. Restored my previous 1.8.0 Configuration (a few weeks old), were the bottom of my Existing DHCP Entries had "Blank" Host-names??? Total Number of DHCP Entries 100...

I have returned to 1.6.2...

My Asus WL-500G Premium V1, running Gargoyle 1.8.0 feeds an open-mesh network that is in bridge mode. So all DHCP requests are handled out of the Gargoyle router. The Open-Mesh gateway goes down at least once per day, and then recovers. Looking at the Gargoyle log files, they get filled by DHCP requests every 15 to 18 minutes. Below is an excerpt. I didn't have this issue with 1.6.2. DHCP lease time is set to 72 hours. Any ideas?

There is any chance that in v1.90 we could have 802.1x support for Gateway-Wireless client mode?

Now i have to use DD-WRT so I could connect to this type of wi-fi networks.

Thank you in advance!

Flashed 2 WDR4300's with 1.8.0

1st unit, virgin flashing, went fine, login & configure with no problem.

2nd unit, previously flashed 20x with everything under the sun, login, configure, save = brick. Unit self recovered to TP-Link factory firmware.

Flash again with 1.8.0, login, configure, save = no problems.

So far, under 24 hr. stress test 1st unit is 100% rock solid.

A big hat tip to everyone involved. Best firmware for a router I've ever used.

I also tried with different browsers.
