actually after an upgrade from 1.70 with preserve settings even though scheduled reboots seems enabled, they are not. I unset and re set and now work fine..

Did we finally get Tor working in this 1.7.1 yet?

Or are we still forced to go back to 1.6x for those of us who use the Tor plugin?

There seems be a JavaScript error related to the new QMI support on the Connection -> Basic page:

"ReferenceError: hasQMI is not defined" on basic.js:7:23953.

The error breaks the whole basic connection page, so it's not possible to set up a connection. The error doesn't occur if the modem is not connected.

This happens on WNDR3700 (v1). The modem is a ZTE MF821D, which has LTE support and can be used with QMI.

DoesItMatter wrote:Since Gargoyle has OpenWRT underneath, the latest Gargoyle builds are on Barrier Breaker, which only has 2.4 GHZ support.

If you need 5GHZ, you need to use OpenWRT trunk (newest)
which is called Chaos Calmer, and you will have to build it yourself.

Could be quite a while before it's fully supported by Gargoyle.

Depends if they backport drivers to Barrier Breaker branch or not.
Is it still the current thinking that support for it (I have the C7v2, if that matters) will be coming for sure to the Gargoyle CC builds, whenever that may be (hard to say, since we have no idea when CC itself will be finished)?

Or is a backport now in the cards (the above was posted some months ago)?

Today, about a month into upgrade, my router (WRT160-NL) fell into endless reboot cycle. It came online for a few minutes at a time, just long enough to establish PPPoE connection.

I'm not sure what was causing it to reboot. I unplugged wired clients and turned off wireless ones, but it didn't help. Reboot persisted until I did hardware reset. Reset via web UI wasn't working for some reason.

I sadly can't provide any logs. I also forgot to backup configurations, so I can't test if it's faulty or not -.-

Very interesting. It can't be a coincidence.
