I installed 1.70 on onNetgear wndr3800 on the 6th Jan.
There is a bug? when downloading the modem reboots. Not always I assume it depends on how busy is the cable and how fast the server.
I have a cable connection supposed to be 30Mbits max. The computer is directly connected to the the ethernet port not wifi. The wndr3800 has reset about 4 times with normal use in the last 13 days and resets almost always if i try to measure the download speed. I am not an intensive user they are away on holiday .

Status says 123Mb free.
Is this a known problem?

Hello,
I tested:
TL-WR1043ND V1, yes, transfers are stoped >4GB (WAN cca. total: 7.021GB, Download 4.825GB, Upload: 2.197GB) :(
TL-WR1043ND V2, no, transfer continues (WAN cca. total: 20.825GB, Download 14.293GB, Upload: 6.432GB) ;)
In the past I tested package of mini-snmpd_1.2b-8 and it was the same.

Thanks,

Transferts are not stopped, its only the download speed reported via UPNP that stops when more than 4Gb are downloaded.
Its still broken with the current build.

Many thanks!

I've upgraded my two "TP-Link TL-WA901N/ND v2" (used as pure clients) today from 1.62 to 1.70 and everything works fine :)

My installed extensions/themes:
- Ping Watchdog
- Dark One

Hi, im using 1.7.0 in router TP Link - WR841nd v9 , im having a bug, in Upload QoS settings, can't edit, delete or activate/deactive UP QoS settings, it doesn't save settings or get stuck at "please wait..."

I edit Upload QoS at first install, maybe problem is by mistake i set a class maximun BW (512) higher than Total upload bandwidth (320), now i can't edit or delete class data or total upload value.

The TP Link - WR841nd v9 has only 4MB of flash. Expect problems with Gargoyle on 4MB flash routers. Gargoyle users should make sure they have routers with at least 8MB of flash to avoid them.

Can i reinstall 1.7.0 same way i upgraded from 1.6 branch? Just reflash same 1.7.0 sysupgrade bin? I believe my config file is corrupt (see my previous post too) and when try to reset to factory settings within gargoyle menu don't work (stuck at waiting)

I have a tp 740ND V4 too (4mb) and latest 1.6 brach was working fine, maybe troubles are due to 1.7.0?

Weird, i work with Gargoyle with at least 10 routers most of them wr1043nd v1 or v2, the main router is a wr4300nd v1, those are used in my work, for personal use i have two routers an wr740n and a wr741nd, i use those two primary for a personal web and database server with advanced firewall rules beside qos and restrictions rules, i'm glad to say that i did the upgrade from 1.6.2 to 1.7.0 preserving the configuration and without any problems at all, the wifi signal is more stable, fast and with a little more range.

But yes there is one issue, before when someone reaches the quota the router send them to a login page, indicating their current quota, with the current versiĆ³n, there is a no response from every site i visit after the quota is exceded. this is the only issue i have found so far.

Greetings everyone and thanks for your great work.

It's possible that 1.7 got little larger, pbix already told you what the problem is, there is not much you can do except getting another router with atleast 8 MB flash.
