And if that doesn't help?

Give OpenWrt a try...

In test.
Gargoyle is far, the best firmware. :)
Thanks Eric!
PD: Since Attitude Adjustment (12.09) final Support for 6RD configuration
Is there a chance of any plugin for 6to4 or 6RD?
Hi, I am new to gargoyle, but familiar with openwrt, now I want to use gargoyle.
So, I just download the gargoyle 1.5.10 source code ane make it, right ?

Or, there is a way to build openwrt firmware with gargoyle, if that's true please tell me how to reach my target.

That's basically it. But you should read about the profiles here:

There is no current way to build Gargoyle inside of OpenWrt. You build Gargoyle & it pulls in OpenWrt.

I don't, but if you want to try changing the parameter in the file, you can either:

-ssh in & use vi (something I wouldn't do)
-ssh in, 'opkg install nano' and then 'nano /var/run/hostapd-phy0.conf' the file, edit the one line & save in place (I have nano installed - technically I build it into the firmware I flash for myself)
or
'scp root@192.168.1.2:/var/run/hostapd-phy0.conf ~' and edit the file on your computer & then 'scp ~/hostapd-phy0.conf root@192.168.1.2:/var/run/' to put it back.
BashfulBladder, I had tried it before your response, but it seems this configuration file is generated automatically on starting network service (/etc/init.d/network). Anyway I have checked the logread and dmesg and I can't figure out why it's happening. But I notice it is becoming more frequently. This morning my wireless dropped 3 times.

There is not any other person with the same issue, I mean, wireless dropping issue on WR1043ND?

My DDNS is not working correctly with No-Ip still. It says it updates with no indication of failure, but it is not actually updating. This is with me re-configuring everything on 1.5.10; I did not reload saved settings this time. I just got the expiry warning in my email, but Gargoyle says it was last updated 06/12 18:52:46.

An observation that may explain the wireless dropouts though I do not know how to fix.

My Samsung Galaxy III obviously has WMM on to save battery. I can see from the Gargoyle Connected Hosts page it is connected at 1 Mbit/s most of the time but when I use it, it will jump to 72 Mbit/s and then go back down to 1 when it's done. I have set it in the past so that it keeps the wifi on all the time but the battery drains like crazy, so WMM is important for battery powered wifi devices. I've also seen wireless printers do the same thing, sit at 1 Mbit/s unless they are in use.

I'm wondering whether the wireless dropouts are occuring because of WMM in that the wifi does not re-connected from "idle" mode after a period of time.
